NaBloPoMo: The Art of Awaiting

A bit of spontaneity never hurt anybody – so that’s what you get this morning. Hope you enjoy it.

The Art of Awaiting

There is an art to this- I am waiting for time to pass.
Waiting for ‘Easter’ to be over.
Those who know me well know why.

Easter brings moments I have already lived
Back to mind easily, carelessly
Anything I want to remember
Hidden in large amounts of things I want to forget

One day I will remember correctly
Getting rid of the things I don’t want to recall
And holding those I do
Close to my heart.

This is the art of awaiting.
