Words I found a long time ago…

Perfect for times when there are none. Like now. I seem to remember I wrote this the last time it started to hit the fan. Then it turned out OK, and I never sent it because I didn’t want to tempt Fate. Of course, sometimes Fate doesn’t require temptation. Fate just happens, however crap we find that to be.

Without further ado, I offer you, my readers, the words I wanted to offer to Kim, and do also offer to her now, in her spirit form.

Kim

As I sit and think of you

These words come to my mind

I think of your sweet friendship

A treasure so rare to find.

I remember all you’ve said to me

The advice of which you gave

The memories that you’ve shared

The heartache that you’ve saved.

I thank you sincerely

For everything you’ve said

Over the time we have walked this road together.

And now I ask you,

As you are facing a struggle,

Remember the love we all have for you

We are all here for you

He is ever with you,

As she is with me

With love,

You will triumph

And we will help.
I suppose ‘triumph’ has a new meaning here, and it’s one I can’t bring myself to think of yet. ‘She’ here refers to Chris . (Is it somehow disrespectful to use somebody’s name as a hyperlink to the story of their impact on, and exit from, your life?
